Electrochemical behavior of cadmium and tellurium ions in their joint reduction on a glassy carbon electrode in a nonaqueous electrolyte based on ethylene glycol was studied. An X-ray phase analysis and transmission electron microscopy were used to determine the phase composition and particle size of the electrodeposited CdTe films.
