Abstract

Electrochromic (EC) materials have a wide range of applications such as intelligent energy-saving windows, low-energy display, automotive anti-pull rearview mirror and infrared stealth of satellite and weapon equipment, which is of great significance for research. The Nb-ITO with electrochromic property thin films are deposited by Pulse Laser Deposition (PLD) at different pressure of 1 Pa, 3 Pa and 5 Pa via changing oxygen. Crystal texture of the film prepared under 1 Pa and 5 Pa is confirmed by x-ray diffraction as well as amorphous structure in 3 Pa. Bonding vibration information of Nb doped with other elements such as O, In and Sn was detected by Raman spectroscopy. The electrical properties of materials satisfied the basic conditions of electrochromic are proved by Hall effect test. The transmission spectra under different voltage from 0 V to 20 V of films prepared at different pressure is measured. Finally, three type materials with flexible and adjustable electrochromic properties, including change with wavelength (the film prepared at 1 Pa), voltage (the film prepared at 5 Pa) and stable chromatic transmittance difference (the film prepared at 3 Pa) are successfully obtained by this work.
