Abstract

The electrochromic effect of composites based on polymers and Mo4O11-W18O49 structures has been studied. Double oxide structures were obtained by treating oxide-containing sols to an underwater diaphragm discharge. It has been shown that colored composites have absorption bands due to the presence of Me5+→Me6+ transitions. Differences in optical transmittance values can be up to 63 %. It has been demonstrated that the efficiency of coloring depends on the nature of the polymer matrix.
