Abstract

AbstractAn electrochemical oxidation reaction was developed for the synthesis of trisubstituted oxazoles and imines. The use of external oxidant and transition‐metal catalyst was avoided in the methodology. Various trisubstituted oxazoles and imines were obtained in moderate to excellent yields. The mechanism studies propose the electrochemical reaction involves a radical process.
