Abstract

Abstract In this work, cyclic voltammogram, AC impedance and potential step method have been used to study the electrochemical properties of Li/Li x Mn 2 O 4 system using a powder microelectrode technique. The results show that the diffusion of lithium ions in Li x Mn 2 O 4 particles is the rate-determining step. The diffusion coefficient of lithium ion and the exchange current density have been measured at different x values of Li x Mn 2 O 4 .
