Abstract

AAO templates have been prepared via a two-step anodic oxidization process. The templates possess the size of nanopores, the thickness of template and the density of nanopores is 35nm, 30μm and 6.3×1010 cm-2, respectively. Pt-Fe alloy nanowires have been fabricated via alternating current (AC) technique and characterized by TEM, EDS and vibrating sample magnetometer. The ascorbic acid results in Pt and Fe deposited alternately. Pt-Fe (31:69) alloy possesses larger Hc and higher remanence ratio along the nanowires. Thus, this kind of Pt-Fe alloy nanowires could have potential application as high-density perpendicular recording materials.
