Abstract
The synthesis of a new diruthenium complex and its adsorption on mercury are described. One ruthenium center was designed to adsorb on the electrode in such a way that the other center would be held at a fixed distance from the electrode surface. Unfortunately this objective was thwarted because both ruthenium centers appeared to be adsorbed to approximately equal extents and too weakly for convenient electrode kinetic studies.
