Abstract
Chemically stable Sr 0.97(Ti, Fe)O 3− δ materials were prepared by a conventional solid state reaction procedure. Their transport properties were evaluated by electrochemical permeability experiments. Our results confirm that Fe additions yield SrTiO 3 based materials with relatively good electronic and oxygen ion conductivities. However, the permeability experiments could not be fitted by a model behaviour derived on assuming that the ionic conductivity is independent of Po 2, and a simple power law for the p-type contribution, σ p= σ p1(Po 2) 1/4.
