Abstract
Anodic fluorination of sulfides having oxazolidinone at the α-position was successfully carried out by controlled potential electrolysis at platinum plate electrodes in DME containing Et 3N·3HF using an undivided cell to provide the corresponding α-monofluorinated products. The fluorinated product was readily converted into the corresponding fluoroallylamine in good yield by treatment with an alkaline solution.
