Abstract

Mn doped mesoporous MnFe2O4 nanocrystal clusters (MnFe2O4 NCs) was used for the electrochemical detection of As(III) by square wave anodic stripping voltammetry (SWASV). The favorable sensitivity (0.295μA/ppb) and LOD (1.95ppb) for As(III) were achieved under the optimized conditions. In addition, no interference from Cu(II) and Hg(II) was recognized during the detection of As(III). Moreover, the MnFe2O4 NCs modified electrode offered favorable stability and potential practical applicability in the electrochemical determination of As(III). The current work may provide a potential material for the design of new sensing materials in the application field of electrochemical detection of As(III) and other toxic metal ions.
