Abstract

Abstract LiNi 0.5 Mn 0.5− x Ti x O 2 series was prepared by a simple solid state method using MnO 2 , TiO 2 and nickel carbonate basic as the starting materials. Its structural and electrochemical characteristics were also studied and compared with those prepared by the spray dry method. As Ti content increases, the degree of cation mixing increases and the structure of compound transforms gradually from a layered structure to a disordered rock salt structure.
