Abstract

Electronic transport properties of the material can give insight into the inherent charge transport mechanism in the material. Here, we report the transport properties and electrochemical performance of potassium-based nickel hexacyanoferrate (KNiHCF) Prussian Blue Analogue (PBA) synthesized via sonochemical assisted co-precipitation method. The transport properties of the compound were studied from 1 Hz to 10 MHz over 223 K to 423 K. The compound exhibited a specific capacity of 88.5 mAh/g at a current density of 2 A/g, making it a good candidate for potassium-ion batteries.
