Abstract

Abstract The catalytic polymer film electrode which was coated with poly[N-(5-hydroxypentyl) pyrrole] film on carbon materials and incorporated palladium metal microparticles in film was prepared. By use of the electrode the electrocatalytic hydrogenation of acetylenes in organic solvent-HCl buffer solution led to the efficient formation of ethanes in high current efficiencies.
