Abstract

In article number 1501661, Gengfeng Zheng and co-workers demonstrate nanotube/nanosheet hybrid structures formed by ultrathin nanosheet assembly for electrocatalytic water splitting. These Co-Ni based nanotube/nanosheet hydroxides and nitrides function as efficient oxygen evolution reaction (OER) and hydrogen evolution reaction (HER) catalysts, respectively, attributed to their high electrochemically active surface area, efficient one-dimensional charge transport and tunable doping.
