Abstract

The manifestations of an external electric field on the magnetic and polarizability characteristics of trimeric mixed-valence clusters are investigated. The anisotropy of the cluster polarizability is predicted. External electric fields offer a unique possibility to manipulate the polarizability and magnetic characteristics of trimeric mixed-valence clusters.
