Abstract
We have prepared single-phase cubic samples of YbCu 5 by single roller melt spinning on a copper wheel. The measurements of the electrical resistivity and magnetic susceptibility in the temperature range 2–300 K and heat capacity (2–50 K) in 0 and 9 T magnetic field are presented. Our experimental dependencies are similar to those previously reported on polycrystalline sample.
