Abstract

The electrical resistivity of polycrystalline In-Tl alloys in the range 0–20 at.% Tl has been measured between 4.2 to 300 K. Anomalies in the resistivity are observed at 2.6, 5.7 and 9.9 at.%. Excluding these anomalous regions, the concentration and temperature dependences of the resistivity for In-Tl alloys are explained in terms of the decrease of the average phonon energy with increasing Tl concentration.
