Abstract

Electrical resistivity data, as a function of temperature, are presented for dilute CrMn alloys containing 0.1, 0.2, 0.3 and 0.8 at.% Mn. The results are discussed in terms of the magnetic transitions occurring at the different phase boundaries of the magnetic phase diagram of the Cr-Mn system. It is argued that the triple point should occur at a Mn concentration a little above 0.30 at.% with a positive slope for the paramagnetic-incommensurate antiferromagnetic phase boundary.
