Abstract

Electrical conductivity, Hall effect, and Seebeck effect have been measured on two sets of polycrystalline samples of $\ensuremath{\alpha}{\mathrm{Fe}}_{2}{\mathrm{O}}_{3}$ and $\ensuremath{\alpha}{\mathrm{Fe}}_{2}{\mathrm{O}}_{3}$ containing from 0.05 to 1.0 atomic percent titanium ($n$-type impurity). One set of samples contained 0.6 atomic percent excess of iron ($n$-type impurity), the second set contained 0.6 atomic percent deficiency of iron ($p$-type impurity).
