Abstract

The electrical conductivities of pure Pb film and Pb Xe and Pb SF 6 films deposited at 20°K were measured to above 100°K. Pb SF 6 films were poorer conductors than Pb Xe films, thus eliminating the possibility of a SF 6 − conduction mechanism. Pb 2 and higher aggregates of Pb were found to be inert to SF 6.
