Electrical Conduction of t-Decalin in a Positive Point Electrode

Abstract

High-mobility positive carrier, so called positive hole, was observed in a dc conduction current measurement for a positive point-plane electrode system in trans-decalin. The mobility value for the hole was arranged between 9.8×10-2 and 2.3×10-1 cm2/Vs, although, in the same liquid, the positive ion mobility was about 7-10×10-4 cm2/Vs.
