Abstract
Abstract D.c. conductives of 16 organic substances show T 1/4 dependence, in accordance with the Mott formula [sgrave] = A exp (-B/T 1/4), but the constants A and B are found to be related by a compensation-like law indicating a variable-range tunnelling process with randomly distributed broken bonds acting as the sites of localization of the charge carriers.
