Abstract

Electrical conduction in dielectrics is the ordered motion of weakly bound charged particles under the influence of an electric field. The available information on electrical conduction in solid dielectrics refers mainly to polycrystalline and amorphous materials; electrical conduction in single-crystal dielectrics has not yet been investigated sufficiently thoroughly.
