Abstract

The investigation of the role of La1-xSrxGa1-yMgyO3-δ (LSGM) structure and secondary phases on the total conductivity of three different samples, prepared via coprecipitation route in aqueos medium, starting from carbonate precursors, is here reported. Three different samples were prepared in order to evaluate different operating conditions on sample composition and structure. All of them were characterized by XRD, SEM, TG-DTA, FT-IR in order to investigate their structure, and by impedance spectroscopy (IS) to obtain information on their electrical properties. Samples C1 and C2 can be treated as conductor-insulator composites, while the interpretation of the low temperature impedance spectra of C3 is not straightforward.
