Abstract

Current-voltage characteristics, critical current density and thermal conductivity measurements have been performed on YBaCuO/Ag composites. From current-voltage characteristics and critical current density measurements, it is shown that the YBaCuO/Ag composites can be viewed as superconducting link networks. Current-voltage characteristics and critical current density seem to obey a universal law. It has also been demonstrated that the thermal conductivity of the composites is dominated by the electronic contribution of silver.
