Abstract

The present paper deals with studying the magnetic and the electrical properties - structure correlation of compounds under investigation: Nd0.65Sr0.35FexMn1-xO3 (x = 0.2, 0.4, 0.6 and 0.8). All samples are prepared using standard solid state reaction method and tested using X-ray and neutron diffraction. They have orthorhombic distortion perovskite-like structure of space group Pnma. It is found that the activation energy is directly proportional to the volume of unit cell. The crystal structure does not change with changing the concentration of iron where all the samples have the same space group. The transition from the pure ferromagnetic ordering into the non-collinear ordering (weak ferromagnetic) occurs at 520K for Nd0.65Sr0.35Fe0.6Mn0.4O3.
