Abstract

Abstract This work consists of geo-electrical resistivity and ground penetrating radar GPR data sets for ten (10) profiles of 2D electrical resistivity tomography (ERT) and six (06) GPR collected within Guerrara, south East Algerian Sahara for two weeks in December 2011, using an ABEM (SAS1000) resistevimeter and GSSI ground penetrating radar. The observed apparent resistivity data sets for the 2D ERT were processed using RES2DINV software, while those of the GPR were processed with Reflex2D to obtain 2D inverse model resistivity images and DZT processed radargram. The geoelectric and electromagnetic parameters for the 2D ERT and the GPR were combined to characterize the subsurface geologic structure and determine the geohazards alea.
