Abstract
Due to the inspection of overhead lines is single and low efficient, the diversified and efficient inspections must be the direction in the future. Now, many scholars focus on the using of Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) for inspection. In order to avoid the inductive discharge which will influence the control, data transmission and position system of UAV, so it is significant to study the distance of discharge between UAV and overhead lines. Firstly, the capacitance model is established to elaborate the mechanism of inductive discharge between UAV and overhead lines. Then, some conductor models which are different in shape factors and two types of UAV are selected to simulate the electric field intensity. And we combine the gas discharge theory to analysis the influencing degree of different shape factors in the discharge. Finally, we set up the experimental platform and complete the measuring experiment of discharge distance between UAV and 110kV line. We get the conclusion that the large UAV is easier to discharge with overhead line than the small one, and the rotor wing is easier to discharge than the center of fuselage. Moreover, some recommendations about modification and equipment installed in UAV have provided.
