Abstract
A acceleration scheme using a bunch of single-cell cavities as the first-stage acceleration of ion beams. The single-cell cavity has been shown the possibility of accelerating high-current beams of 1 A or more. As an elemental test before we started a cavity fabrication, we compared simulations of the electric field distribution with experiments utilizing the existing cavity.
