Abstract

To simulate a low-impedance electromagnetic environment of the source region electromagnetic pulse, a composite system is constructed by spatially combining a magnetic field coil with a bounded-wave simulator. It is found that the electric field characteristics of this composite system can be analyzed by using a circuit model, which is consisted by equivalent capacitors and inductors. The calculation results based on the circuit simulation software LTspice showed that, the voltage waveforms of the equivalent capacitors can be consistent with the electric field waveforms in the corresponding spatial region. These results verify the correctness of the equivalent capacitors and the circuit model proposed in this paper.
