Abstract

We present our calculations of the electric dipole and quadrupole matrix elements for transitions between low-lying bound states of ${\mathrm{Ba}}^{+}$ that are relevant for parity nonconservation studies using the relativistic coupled-cluster method. The results compare well with the experimental data. We have also computed the electric dipole transition matrix elements between many high-lying excited states.
