Abstract
The results of the investigation of elastooptic light diffraction on ferroelastic domains in Pb3(PO4)2 crystals are submitted in this paper. The description of the orientation of the optical indicatrices in various domains at the ferroelastic phase transition with a change of symmetry is made. The temperature and angular dependencies of the diffraction efficiency are obtained. It is found that most probably the change of the diffraction angle wih temperature is connected to the change of the orientation of W'-–domain walls.
