Abstract
The problem of reflection and refraction of elastic waves due to incident quasi P and quasi SV-waves at a plane interface between the homogeneous and inhomogeneous fibre-reinforced elastic half-spaces has been investigated. The reflection and refraction coefficients and energy ratios of the reflected and refracted quasi P and quasi SV-waves are obtained. These coefficients and ratios are computed numerically for a particular model and the results are shown graphically.
