Abstract
Closed-form solutions for stresses and displacement in an anisotropic rotating circular disk of variable thickness and variable density are obtained. It is found that the stresses and displacement induced are lower when the mass density of the material of the disk increases radially. Numerical results showing the degree of anisotropy and density variation on stresses and displacement are presented graphically.
