Abstract
Lattice parameters of YBa2Cu3O7 (YBCO) and BaZrO3 (BZO) were evaluated in YBCO+BZO nanocomposite superconducting films using X-ray diffraction (XRD), and stress-strain calculation was performed using finite element method (FEM). FEM calculation well described BZO content dependence of lattice parameters in XRD using three fitting parameters; BZO volume fraction ratio between film and target, BZO lattice parameter without strain, and misfit. The fitting parameter values were consistent with results of transmission electron microscopy and energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDX), which showed that Y was included in nanorods. These results show that elastic strain determined the lattice parameters in YBCO+BZO nanocomposite films and that the FEM calculation is useful for analysis and design of elastic strain in the nanocomposite films.
