Abstract
The vector polarization parameter 〈iT11〉 of deuterons scattered on 4He has been measured using the vector polarized deuteron beam from the ETH tandem accelerator. Measurements were made at c.m. angles between 33.6° and 151° in the energy range of 3 to 11.5 MeV. The results show that d-α scattering is useful as an analyser for deuteron vector polarization for most deuteron energies in this energy range.
