Abstract
We present differential cross sections for elastic scattering of electrons from krypton andcompare our results with experimental measurements for differential and integrated crosssections including recent experiments which extend the measurements to larger scatteringangles. Our calculations are based upon the relativistic polarized-orbital method andinclude both static and dynamic polarization potentials as well as an absorption potentialto simulate the loss of flux into other channels. The inclusion of these absorption effectssignificantly improves upon our previous calculations, bringing them into very good toexcellent agreement with experimental measurements of the differential cross sections aswell as the total and momentum transfer cross sections over the energy range from 10 to200 eV.
