Abstract

Elastic Nanovaccines In article number 2201108, Zhaogang Teng, Heng Dong, Yongbin Mou, and co-workers report a soft mesoporous organosilica-based nanovaccine (SMONV) and demonstrate that elastic SMONV evokes robust antitumor immune cascades, including lymphatic drainage, antigen internalization and cross-presentation, and tumor-specific T-cell immune responses. Treg-mediated immunosuppression is inhibited after immunization with SMONV. Furthermore, combined administration of anti-PD-L1 antibodies induces tumor regression. The paper provides insight into nanoparticle elasticity and dendritic cell-mediated immunotherapy.
