Abstract
Calculated elastic differential cross sections for electron–CH4 collisions are reported in the (9–30)-eV energy range. The Schwinger multichannel method with plane waves as a trial basis set is used to solve the scattering equations with the Born–Ochkur model to describe the exchange effect. The numerical stability is investigated and our study has shown a significant agreement with experimental data and theoretical results.
