Abstract

Elastic stiffness constants s 66 E and s 66 D of Rb 1- x [N(H 1- y D y ) 4 ] x (H 1- y D y ) 2 PO 4 ( x =0.5; y =0, 0,5, 0.7, 1.0) were determined between 4.2 K and 350 K. Pronounced effects of deuteration were found in the temperature dependences of s 66 E and s 66 D . Deviation from the elastic Curie-Weiss law of ( s 66 E - s 66 D ) -1 vs temperature was found below the onset temperature T m , as in the case of the dielectric one. The temperature T m increases with the increase of deuteration rate from 120 K ( y =0) to 220 K ( y =1.0). Unlike the case of the pure crystals of the KDP family, a slight anomaly of s 66 D was observed between T m and the Vogel-Fulcher temperature T 0 .
