Abstract
The differential cross section of elastic π −d scattering has been measured in the angular range 20°–170° at P π, lab = 438 MeV/ c using a deuterium bubble chamber. The total cross section of the elastic scattering was found to be 18.0 ± 1.0 mb. The results obtained are compared with Glauber theory calculations.
