EL17 - Recent progress of molecular target therapy for breast cancer

Abstract

Many molecular target agents such as trastuzumab have been developed in recent 20 years for the improvement of patients care with breast cancer. These progresses enable to provide several treatment choices to the patient, however, it becomes very difficult to decide one treatment strategy with these new drugs. In this educational seminar, we would summarize the recent progress of drug development in breast cancer, and touch the issue of up-coming novel treatment strategy.
