Abstract

Empirical studies document that creative arts therapies make it easier for people with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) to express their feelings and emotions. This work develops a study that focuses on the implementation of various activities based on Art Therapy in a school aimed at a 6 years old student who is in his first year of primary education diagnosed with ASD to see if he manages to externalize his emotional charge. The present document begins with a theoretical foundation focused mainly on the concept of autism and on the origin of the mentioned therapy, making a historical journey and relating it to this disorder. Afterwards, the design and implementation of the didactic proposal is presented.
