Abstract
The ideas of Wolfgang Blankenburg related to the phenomenological approach of the paranoid syndrome have supposed a remarkable contribution to the philosophical-psychiatric discussion of the last decades. Even today many authors base their phenomenological reflections in Psychiatry on him. Our research tries to propose an approach to the Orteguians roots of Blankenburg via Luis Valenciano Gayá. The aim of this text is to discover this novel genealogy.
