Abstract

The philosopher and playwright Gabriel Marcel reflects on hope as the fruit of an experience of interpersonal communion that opens to man renewed horizons of meaning. From his contributions, in this article, the fundamental role of hope will be highlighted as an intrinsic dynamism of the pedagogical relationship, which is revealed as a reciprocal birth of educator and learner, in a progressive awakening to intersubjective fullness.
