Abstract

The objective of this article is to analyze the emotional regime of the procés in Catalonia, while Catalans’ different emotional architectures are also examined based on their position on the procés, their voting orientation and their temporary period of ascription to the independence movement. A quantitatively oriented methodological approach has been used to develop this research. As a result, a descriptive analysis is carried out that observes: a) Catalans’ emotional component towards leaders and parties; b) the way how the different emotional regimes are articulated; and c) the relationship they establish with the independence process.
