Abstract

This is PHI: Ibero-American Cultural and Historic Heritage. The PHI project focuses on developing an innovative global information system to research and study of the cultural legacy of the Hispanic-Portuguese. It is based on two hypotheses: getting the most out of the capabilities of a permanently critical and innovative University world and the design of an instrument with cutting-edge technology to use in our present time. The PHI network: a number of universities coordinated in a homogeneous effort, making use of the present potential of iberoamerican countries, through a collective programming along with local specialized public institutions. This potential can reveal unknown opportunities such as enhance gender equality, improvements in the environment, in city and land planning, and help in the decision-making process. It is a tool of social transformation. A methodology competitive in technology, pursuing improvements in governance, and of focused issues. The PHI platform: an advanced technological system able to manage more efficiently the large inventory of cases collected by academics. As facilitator of teaching innovation, it intends, through the visibility of information, to link researchers, media and ways to do with non-formal and informal social levels of Cultural heritage.
