Abstract
El autor habla, en primer lugar, de las razones que contribuyen a explicar el renovado interés historiográfico por el análisis de las estructuras de poder local, y, en segundo lugar, y sobre todo, de algunos aspectos metodológicos a tener en cuenta en todo estudio de dichas estructuras en el siglo XIX.
