Abstract

Leibniz’s political writings are mainly collected in the nine-volume of Berlin’s Akademie edition of Political Writings. In addition, Leibniz’s way of thinking and working does not allow a single theme to be clearly extracted so that it can be commented on without derivations or external reflections and without relating it to the many others with which he turns out to have deep and suggestive relationships. His training as a jurist also deeply influences many related topics, such as economics, popular culture, international relations, etc. And of course, mathematics must collaborate in everything. Here we wanted to take an unusual point of view to understand how theory and practice must be coordinated in the lives of citizens to achieve true progress.
