Abstract

The National Police of Colombia, as guarantor of rights and freedoms for its constitutional missionary has faced the phenomenon of war by illegal armed groups for more than half a century, causing a naturalization of violence for a whole society, now after the Signing of the end of the conflict in Colombia is an expectant scenario in many aspects and a challenge for the Institution in reconstruction and reconciliation, taking into account that uniformed police are also victims and that these must contribute with their work to the construction Of peace, without the lived events becoming an obstacle to the provision of their service. It is for this reason that the need arose to investigate the personal vision of the policeman who has been the victim of the conflict and its preparation for the approach of future peacebuilding scenarios. Through the identification of subjectivities around violence, establishing the proper meanings that each subject assigns to think the world and appropriate their previous experiences, establishing points of contact from their perceptions, as well as the identification of the expectations of the police against a Peace process from its current situation.
